We currently have 90 members whose personalities run the gamut; however, all genuinely want to help improve children's lives. Our level of involvement with the club varies, but we all have a volunteering spirit and give of our time when we can to accomplish Optimist International's mission to "Bring Out the Best in Kids". There are two types of memberships: Club Member and Friend of Optimists. With either type of membership, you become a member of our local club and Optimist International; a portion of your dues stays with the local club.

Individual Club Member provides the best opportunity for full involvement with the club and community. Our "bare minimum" expectation for each club member is to work at least one cheese curd shift each year. Any additional level of involvement is encouraged and appreciated. Opportunities include volunteering on service projects, being a committee or board member, attending weekly breakfast meetings, occasional social events or district events. Dues are $100 annually and $90 annually for the spouse of a member (not tax deductible). Download the Member Brochure for more information, and complete the Membership Application Form.
-
Individuals enrolled as a full-time college student (minimum of 12 credit hours) are eligible to join as a College Member with reduced annual dues.
-
Additionally, club members can become a Life Member. Through Life Membership, a one-time fee is paid with reduced annual dues thereafter. See the Life Member Application for additional information.

A Friend of Optimist membership is the best choice for you if you feel like you don't have the time to commit to a regular club membership, but are still interested in supporting us. Although welcomed, there is no expectation for volunteering or other time commitment. This membership level is available for individuals, businesses or organizations. Dues are $140 annually (may be tax deductible for individuals). Download the Brochure + Member Application for more information, or complete the Online Membership Form.
