This award is presented annually  to recognize a member who generously serves the Platteville Optimist Club. They volunteer considerable personal time and talent. They step forward when a project needs overseeing. They research solutions needed for the club. And they have a "let's get it done" attitude that spreads to other members.  The recipient of the Outstanding Member Award this year is Dianne Jentz.  Dianne has been a member for a couple years now, after waiting until her youngest got her driver's license so she could make the morning meetings.  She's energetic, rational, and in my opinion, such a hoot to be around and work with. We are excited that she is part of our club, and look forward to her being an addition to our Board of Directors going forward. Thank you, Dianne.
