4th of July Committee Accepts Donation for Platteville Fireworks

Ann Rupp accepted a $1000 donation from Platteville Optimists for the upcoming July 4, 2025 fireworks show. Platteville is happy to host a fireworks show each year and relies on donations from our local community and citizens. Ann commented that if every Platteville resident donated $5 to the show, the annual cost would be covered. Ann and Wayne also mentioned that 2026 will mark the 250th anniversary of our country and 2027 will be the 200th anniversary of the City of Platteville.
