Badger Girls State Donation

Optimist President Alaina Reeves presents a check to Dee Woolf, representative of the American Legion Post 42 Auxiliary for the Badger Girls State Competition. The Auxiliary sponsors the annual competition where area high school girls learn how city, county, and state governments work. Participants learn about the different jobs at each level of government, then hold mock elections for each position. Many participants have gone on to hold government positions later in life.
