Beth Frieders explaining horses' teeth Optimist President Alaina Reeves and Optimist Beth Frieders
Our very own fellow Optimist Beth Frieders, horse owner and endurance rider, spoke to our Club about the caring for her horses. Beth owns two horses that she uses to take part in the sport endurance riding. Endurance rides can be 50-100 miles long. Horses must be in top shape to participate in these events. Beth explained the importance of caring for a horse's teeth and how their teeth impact their ability to get the most benefit from the food they eat. She also talked about what it takes to properly take care of a horse's feet.
