OI President Visits Platteville

OI President Bob McFayden and his wife, Peggy, from Kitchener, Ontario in Canada visited our Club meeting recently. They were traveling to Wisconsin to attend a SWIS District meeting. Bob thanked us all for "being Optimists". He shared his dream would be for Optimists to provide a safe, comfortable learning environment for elementary students; provide basic needs for children in an effort to provide them hope, and to tutor children to help them have more self-confidence.
